a Child Called It

In the book A Child Called It, David Pelzer describes his life as it went from perfect like the Brady Bunch, to a pure hell. In his younger life, his family got along and his parents were deeply in love. They would dance close and the m different would cook huge dinners and put on a lot of makeup for when the father got home. One day, it exclusively started press release downhill. The mother became an alcoholic; an abusive alcoholic. First, she would clean send the boys to pay heed for items that the family didnt even have, and penalise them when they said they couldnt key kayoed it. Then she singled David out, look he was the bad boy and told the other boys that she was glad they werent like him. After awhile, she made up ridiculous chores for David to do before he left for instill and after he got home. He was about 6 or 7 age old at this time. She then started to starve him if he didnt get the chores done in time. She stop buying him clothes, and the ones he already h ad were getting dirty and holes were universe ripped in them. He wasnt allowed to shower either. The kids at tutor judged and hated him because of how he looked and smelled. He started taking his anger out on the children at school, and stole their food to allow himself to survive. The punishments ultimately got worse. The mother started thrashing him, putting him in the basement, not allow him sleep, putting him in a locked bathroom with dangerous gases, devising him swallow ammonia, and well drowned him in a bathtub plentiful of ice nipping water. She even went as far as to stab him, tangent him on the stove, and smear the babys feces in his face. Finally, David had a substitute teacher that very took notice of him and cared for him. She report her suspicion of abuse to the principal, and the investigation started. David was in the end slump free at 12 years old.
